Scarborough Music Theatre

Scarborough Music Theatre, along with our sister companies Scarborough Players and Scarborough Theatre Guild, have been entertaining local audiences for over 60 years at the Scarborough Village Theatre. Each season we bring you 3 musicals, a youth musical, 2 cabarets, a series of youth programs and camps as well as 8 plays from our sister groups. This year join us for The Sound of Music, Sondheim on Sondheim and Rent . Geared Up is a Scarborough band performing all across the GTA. Formed in 2019 the band specializes in Rock, Funk, Disco and Country. Our band is composed of 5 seasoned musicians featuring Female vocalist, guitar, bass, keyboard, and drums. From the music of Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Loverboy, the Stones, Tom Petty, Santana and Melissa Ethridge to name a few. There is something for everyone to enjoy.

Impulse Steel Orchestra

Rooted in tradition yet always evolving. Impulse Steel Orchestra brings the vibrant rhythms of Trinidad and Tobago to life with the infectious sound of steelpan. They’re a cultural force dedicated to sharing Caribbean heritage through high-energy performances and community-based education. With a mission to inspire joy, connection, and cultural pride, Impulse Steel Orchestra is dedicated to preserving tradition while sparking new passion for steelpan music in every generation.

​Port United Band

Port United Band (PUB) is a 5 piece Pop, R&B and Reggae cover band from the Port Union neighborhood in Scarborough. They consider themselves to be the Von Trapps of the east end with a reggae twist. Having performed at venues all over the GTA, their multi-layered harmonies, timeless repertoire and knack for engaging their audiences, guarantees a packed dance floor. From Sade, to Led Zeppelin to Cardi B, no genre is left uncovered.

Need a break from exploring all the incredible artist booths at Guild Alive? Head over to the Greek Theatre for an energizing set from Sonic Square! This dynamic band delivers crowd-favourite hits from every decade in genres like rock, disco, pop, and country! It's all designed to get you dancing and singing along. With rich vocal harmonies, driving rhythms, and standout solos, Sonic Square brings the perfect summertime vibe for a fun-filled afternoon in the park.

​Derrick Zuber Trio

Derrick Zuber is a Toronto based musician combining genres of rock, folk, country & blues in an eclectic mix to suit both his original music and his extensive list of cover songs. Johannes Linstead - From Spain to Cuba

Johannes Linstead has received over 500 million streams and has been named Canada’s “Guitarist of the Year”. The JUNO nominated artist has become recognized internationally with seven Top-10 US billboard charting albums, and is one of the best-selling guitarists in Instrumental, Latin Jazz, and World Music genres. Johannes was recently named “Artist of the Year” in Los Angeles-based Academia Music Awards and in 2024 he will be inducted in their Hall of Fame. His music has been heard in countless hit TV shows, video games and even the Winter Olympics. The group consists of fiery Spanish guitars, grooving bass and soulful accordion.
